These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ClauseCare website and the document drafting services we provide. By instructing us or using this website, you agree to these Terms. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

1. About us

ClauseCare Legal Drafting Services is a document drafting service based in Harrow, London. We assist individuals and small businesses in preparing clear, professional documents.

2. Nature of our service

ClauseCare provides document drafting assistance only. We are not a firm of solicitors, we are not authorised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, and we do not provide legal advice, representation or advocacy. Nothing on this website constitutes legal advice. If your matter requires legal advice, please consult a qualified solicitor or barrister.

3. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate, complete and lawful information for us to draft your documents.
• Review all drafts carefully before signing, sending or relying on them.
• Obtain independent legal advice where appropriate.

4. Fees and payment

Fees are agreed in writing before we begin work. Unless otherwise stated, payment is due on completion or before delivery of the final document. We reserve the right to decline or cease work on any matter at our discretion.

5. Cancellation and refunds

Where the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 apply, you have 14 days to cancel a services contract entered into at a distance. If you ask us to begin work within that 14-day cancellation period and later cancel, you may be required to pay for work carried out up to the point of cancellation. Refund requests outside this period are handled on a case-by-case basis.

6. Intellectual property

On full payment, you receive a licence to use the drafted document for the purpose it was prepared for. All website content, branding and templates remain the intellectual property of ClauseCare.

7. Confidentiality

Information you provide is treated confidentially and used only for the purposes of your instruction, in line with our Privacy Policy.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClauseCare's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees paid by you for the specific document giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or purely economic losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

9. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us at hello@clausecare.com. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 5 working days and provide a full response within 20 working days.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute arising out of them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
